BBA’s legal cell activities in September

All India Legal Aid Cell for Child Right (AILACCR) - established by Delhi Legal Services Authority and BBA under the aegis of National Legal Services - developed a Survivor Contact Letter to ease the process of trial for the child, and to ensure sustained communication between the child and the assigned AILAC lawyer.  The letter is for all children who have been rescued and repatriated- irrespective of crime.

A comprehensive compendium on all trafficking related laws, schemes, landmark judgements, SOPs was published by BBA. This was to bring all documents to one place for use of it law enforcement agents, lawyers, civil society or anyone else.  

AILACCR conducted a workshop with lawyers and civil society members in Kolkata, in partnership with the Socio Legal Aid Research and Training Centre and BBA, on areas concerning- Awareness about the Cell, the need for inter-agency and inter-state convergence and coordination and child-friendly court procedures.
