Four children rescued by Assam team

February 14, 2019

Four children aged between 11-16 years were rescued by Assam team from Guwahati. The children were employed in the automobile and footwear industry. They were trafficked from U.P and Bihar to work as child labourers.

Thirteen children rescued by Delhi team

February 13, 2019

Thirteen children aged between 7 – 17 years were rescued from Khajoori Khas area by our Delhi Team. The children were working in different establishments, including cosmetic, garment industries and hotels/dhabas. The children were trafficked from Bihar to work as child labour in the city.

Ten children rescued by Rajasthan team

February 9, 2019

Ten children aged between 7 – 16 years were rescued by Rajasthan team, in collaboration with district administration of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The children, hailing from Samastipur and Darbhanga district, Bihar, were employed as labourers in the Cosmetic industry.

2 Children Rescued from automobile industry at Assam

February 2, 2019

Two children between 15-16 years were rescued by the Assam team, in collaboration with District Administration, from Kamrup (M), Guwahati. The children, hailing from Bihar and Assam, were employed as labourers in the automobile industry.

65 Children Rescued in Major raid at Delhi

January 31, 2019

In a major raid, 65 children, between 13-17 years, were rescued from Narela Industrial area and Alipur by our Delhi Team. The children were working in different establishments - electronics, metal, automobile and footwear. The rescued children had been trafficked from Bihar, Uttar.Pradesh and Nepal to work as child labourers in the city.

7 Children Rescued from Shahdara in Delhi

January 24, 2019

On 24th January 2019, BBA, in collaboration with District Task Force, rescued 7 children aged between 12 - 15 years from bondage of slavery at Shahdara (Delhi). These children were trafficked from Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal to work as child labourers.

4 Children Freed from Child Labour from Goregaon area of Mumbai



January 23, 2019

4 children aged between 16- 17 years were rescued from Goregaon area of Mumbai, where they were working in hotels/dhabas and juice extract shops. The children were forced to work for more than 18 hours a day. The rescued children hail from U.P, Bihar and Gujarat.

6 Children Rescued in Kamrup district of Guwahati

January 21, 2019

On 21st January 2019, 6 child labourers were rescued from different establishments including automobile, electronic in Kamrup (Metro) district of Guwahati. The rescued children were in the age group of 12 -15 years and hail from Assam and Bihar.

3 Children Freed from Child Labour in Rajisthan

January 16, 2019

BBA team along with District Administration conducted a rescue operation in Bhattabasti area of Jaipur, wherein 3 children employed in cosmetic industry were rescued. All the rescued children were aged between 9 -13 years and hail from different districts of Bihar.

2 Children Freed from Child Labour in Assam

December 29, 2018

BBA Assam team along with the District Administration conducted a rescue operation in Boragaon, Guwahati, on 29 December, wherein 2 child labourers employed in motor garages, were rescued. The rescued child labourers were in the age group of 13-14 years and hail from Kamrup district of Assam.

Thirteen Children Rescued in Punjab during Action Week Against Child Labour



December 6, 2018

As part of action week against child labour being held by the Punjab Government, thirteen children aged between 12- 16 years were rescued from Ludhiana. These children were trafficked from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar to work as child labourers in the city.

Thirteen children between 11- 15 years of age were rescued from Ludhiana in Punjab. They were trafficked from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar to work as child labourers.

Eight Children Rescued from Mumbai and UP

November 29, 2018

Children trafficked from Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan to work as child labourers were rescued today by our Mumbai and Uttarakhand teams. Four children were rescued from Malad in Mumbai and the other four were freed from Selaqui in Uttarakhand.

Nine Children Rescued in Assam

November 20, 2018

Nine child labourers were rescued today from different establishments, including hotels, garage and fabrication units, in the Sivsagar district of Assam. Aged between 12 to 17 years. the children were forced to work for 12 to 14 hours a day. As per their statements, many of the rescued child labourers did not get any wages.

Four Children Rescued in Assam



November 14, 2018

The Assam team, in collaboration with the District Task Force (Kamrup Metro) and Jalukabari Outpost, conducted a rescue operation in the Jalukabri area and rescued four children.The children , aged between 12 to 13 years, worked in hotel dhaba/restaurants and a slaughter house where they were forced to work for more than 12 hours a day. Three of the children were Assam natives and the fourth hailed from Bihar. According to their statements, only one child had received Rs 1000 as wages.

Five Children rescued from Karawal Area, Delhi

November 1, 2018

Five children, all aged between 12-15 years, were rescued today from the Karawal Nagar area of Delhi, during a raid operation conducted in various industrial units such as welding, automobile, dry fruits factory, jeans, and stitching. The majority of the rescued children were trafficked from Uttar Pradesh and forced to work for 4-12 hours a day. An FIR was registered under sections 370 374 of IPC, Sec 75 79 JJ Act, Sec 16 bonded labour Act, Sec. 3 and 14 CLPRA.

Three Children Rescued from Mumbai and Rajasthan


October 31, 2018

We rescued two children from Mumbai and one from Rajasthan. The children rescued in Mumbai are aged between 14-15 years and worked in the hotel/dhaba and juice extract shops. Hailing from Ambedkar Nagar ,Uttar Pradesh and Katihar, Bihar, they were forced to work for more than 17 hours a day. An FIR was registered u/s 370 of IPC, 1860, 3 & 14 of CLPRA Amendment Act 2016, 75 and 79 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act, 2015, 16, 17 & 18 of Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976. The child rescued in Rajasthan is 15 years of age and was found working in an electronic shop . The child hails from Jaipur. An FIR was registered section 374 of IPC, 1860, 75 and 79 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act, 2015.
