As the Covid-19 pandemic moves into its second year, one of the biggest hidden victims have been children forced into unpaid labour. Child labour rose to 160 million in 2021 in a new report by the ILO and UNICEF. This is the first ever increase in these numbers in two decades, with 9 million additional children at risk due to the pandemic.
