Indian children’s rights activist Kailash Satyarthi, founder of the Save Childhood Movement and president of the Children’s Foundation which carries his name, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014. He joins FRANCE 24’s Aziza Nait Sibaha to talk about his long fight against child labour, slavery and trafficking. Thanks to Satyarthi and his teams, more than 87,000 children in India have been freed from a life of slavery since the 1980s.
