13 Trafficked Children from Bihar & West Bengal Rescued at Ambala Railway Station

On 11th November 2021, 13 children were rescued at Ambala Railway station from Karmbhoomi Express jointly by the government officials and the BBA team of Punjab and Haryana States. The children were being trafficked from the states of West Bengal and Bihar to work in the poultry farms and plywood factories of Ludhiana and Pathankot districts of Punjab.

The FIR registration is under process. The children were produced before the Child Welfare Committee and were sent to Child Care Institutes.
