3 Child Labourers Trafficked from Jharkhand Rescued in Telangana

On 3rd November 2021, BBA Telangana team rescued 3 child labourers from a bangle making unit at Roshan Colony, Vattepally in coordination with DCPU, Smile team and Cyberabad Police. All three children were trafficked from Palamu district of Jharkhand.

The children were engaged in work from 8am in the morning till 11pm at night. They were earning a monthly wage of Rs. 6000.

FIR has been lodged in the case against the trafficker/employer under appropriate sections of law. The children were later produced before the Child Welfare Committee and sent to a Child Care Institution in Saidabad, Hyderabad.

BBA has also followed up with SDM, CWC and DCPU Rangareddy district for issuance of Release Certificates and for accruing compensation.
