Bachpan Bachao Andolan’s timely intervention led to the rescue of five children engaged as child labour from an iron furniture manufacturing factory in Jaipur on August 28.

BBA got specific inputs about the five children being engaged in the factory operating out of a building in Salam Vihar Colony and informed the local Kho Nagoriyan police station. Subsequently a raid and rescue operation was carried out in the factory which was engaged in making iron chairs.

The children have been handed over to authorities concerned and their employer Zuber Khan has been arrested.
