Two children working in a dry snacks factory in Gota area of Ahmedabad have been rescued following a rescue operation carried out in collaboration with District Task Force.

The children are from Rajasthan. Their identification was done by District Task Force and Labour Department was informed. Both the children were produced before the Child Welfare Committee.

One of them was found to be over the age of 14 years and was repatriated with the family. The other child was sent to the local Child Care Institution.
