A girl child who had been working in a hotel in Ahmedabad has been rescued following Bachpan Bachao Andolan’s intervention on August 26. She used to clean utensils in the hotel. 

Her identification was done by BBA and a rescue operation was planned in collaboration with the Identification of a girl child labour was done by the BBA who was working in a hotel in Ahmedabad.

The rescue was planned in collaboration with the District Task Force and jointly conducted in conjunction with the Labour Department, Child Line and BBA.

FIR has been registered in the case and the girl has been produced before the Child Welfare Committee.
