In a rescue operation conducted on 22nd January 2022, 6 children between the age group of 10-14 have been rescued from a bangle making factory from Bhatta Basti area in Jaipur. All the children were trafficked from Gaya (Bihar) to Jaipur (Rajasthan) a few months back.
They used to work for more than 12 hours a day with a monthly wage of Rs.3000 to 5000. One alleged accused has been detained by the police in this connection.
FIR registered under Section 370 (5), 374, 344 of IPC; Section 75, 79 of JJ Act; Section 3 &14 of CALPRA and Section 16, 17, 18 of BLSA. The children have been produced before the CWC.
