Association for Voluntary Action (AVA) popularly known as Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA) is India’s largest anti-trafficking and anti-slavery grassroots movement. It was founded by Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi in 1980 with a vision to protect and prevent children from all forms of exploitation. BBA works with the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and the community to protect and prevent vulnerable children and their families from trafficking for labour, marriage and child sexual abuse among others.

Started in 1980, Bachpan Bachao Andolan is India’s largest movement for the protection of children and works with government agencies and policy makers to strengthen the system.
