In the month of June, we provided direct and indirect rehabilitation support to 2,747 children rescued from exploitative situations. Financial support worth INR 11,34,951 was provided to many such children in the form of back wages and other types of compensation. Additionally, 161 children were enrolled in schools and 17 were linked to various government schemes. We provided shelter to 71 children in our short-term rehabilitation centre, Mukti Ashram, situated in Delhi. Also, to ensure that the rescued children are not re-exploited, we followed up with 2,221 children through home visits, phone calls and letters.
