Telangana State team received an information from BBA Complaint Cell on 29th January about an 8 -year old girl working as a bonded labour for last 9 months at a household in Banjara hills, Hyderabad.
BBA team coordinated with Labour Department,, Revenue Departmnt, Police, Smile and DCPU teams of Hyderabad for rescuing the girl child. On 31st January 2022, the girl was rescued from the household and the complaint was raised against the house owner.
An FIR has been registered under Sections of 370, 374 of IPC, 3,7,14 sections of CLPRA and 16,17 and 18 of bonded labour, IR under ALO 33/Domestic/2022. The child has been produced before CWC and sent to CCI for temporary shelter. Rehabilitation and further follow-up is in progress.
